ALIUS
I am an independent artist based in Portland, Oregon. Every piece is developed and produced by hand—from initial concept and pattern making to silversmithing and final shipment. My practice is entirely self-taught, shaped through experimentation, repetition, and a focus on material and form.
WORLD
I approach my work as an act of world-building. Alius exists as a constructed space—shaped by elements of fantasy and spirituality. Influences range from game environments and speculative worlds to brutalist architecture and systems of thought centered on unity and structure. Each piece is designed as an artifact within that world, existing between function and fiction.
PROCESS
My process is narrative-driven. Every object begins with an idea or atmosphere, then is translated into form through material. I aim to balance utility with abstraction—creating pieces that are wearable and functional, while still carrying a sense of something imagined or otherworldly. The result is work that exists in tension—between structure and fluidity, reality and construction, object and artifact.
